From Systems Engineer to Software Builder

Why an I.T. background creates a more resilient, systems-aware software engineer.

The Engineering Foundation

My career started in enterprise I.T. infrastructure—managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring Cisco networking switches, architecting AWS cloud VPCs, and automating Active Directory environments.

Over the years, the most rewarding part of my work was always writing scripts to automate complex workflows. That passion quickly transformed into a dedicated commitment to full-stack software development, distributed systems, and modern API architecture.

Having spent years troubleshooting network bottlenecks, server kernel panics, and security vulnerabilities, I don't treat software as a black box. I write code with a deep appreciation for the operating system, network stack, and cloud environment it executes on.
